IPEM Law Academy organizes a yoga Workshop for the students. The purpose of this yoga workshop is to aware people to practices consisting of 8 levels of development in the areas of physical, mental, social and spiritual health in daily life. When the body is physically healthy. mind is clear, focused and stress is under control.

The workshop started under the supervision of Dr. Sangeeta Tyagi, Yogshala, Kavi Nagar, Ghaziabad. The first day she taught about the importance of yoga and the relationship between yoga and health after their lecture session she instructs about the different types of yoga. These yoga asanas are: Tad Aasan, Katichakra Aasan, Aardha Aasan. Hastolan Aasan and Trikohna Aasan.

On the Second Day was the program commenced with Manduok Aasan, Shashank Aasan, Aardhatas Aasan. Aardha Aasan, Pranayam, Anulorn Vilom, Kapalbhati, Bhramari, and Udgeet. She ends the session with the importance of meditation in day-to-day life.

The competition was organized in IPEM Law Academy on 25^thOct 2018 at 3:00 PM in Badminton Court. Around 07 students representing different semesters participated. Students (Boys and Girls) were in different semesters of LLB. and B.A.LLB. Participated in a Badminton competition.

The workshop was headed by Principal IPEM Law Academy. The esteemed Alumni Mr. Manab Acharya addressed the audience with their enlightened views.

The main objective of this workshop was to make participants familiar with the Intellectual Property Rights, Copyright, Trademark and Patent Filing process. It has gained a special importance for all the domains of socio-economic development.

This workshop covered various topics like what is Intellectual property, Introduction to Patent, Contents and process of Patent filing, Copyright, Trademark, and E-filing/physical filing. The sessions were conducted to cover the technical aspects with well known examples. Further, the role of IP in “Make in India” was specially highlighted by the resource persons in the sessions.

This workshop helped the participants to get insight into the intellectual property rights, detail process of Copyright, Trademark and Patent filing.

The workshop received highly enthusiastic response from 62 participants.

This lecture was started with the need of IP in copyrights and related rights. The rights for reproduction and the ethics in handling these assets were presented. The legal basis of copyright infringement and plagiarism were elaborated with respect to the rights for reproduction/copy. The emerging concept of creative commons and the existence of various data bases academic and plagiarism platforms were discussed. With this the penalties and punishments were also described in the session. Finally very good discussions are made to clarify many aspects regarding IPR related doubts by faculty and students.

The Workshop was inaugurated by lighting up of the lamp by Principal.

The event was graced with the presence of our esteemed Alumni Mr. Atul Dhyani.

He gave some outline of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and explain important of IPRs in current era of Information and knowledge. He gave basic idea about invention and patent. He also thoroughly explained various benefits of IPRs. He gave real example to understand important of patent and copyright. He provides many pictorial examples therefore student and faculty very clearly understood various aspects of IPRs. He explained about rules and regulation about IPRs in India and explains how to file a copy right and patent. Session was very interactive, and students came to know many new things about patent.

The IPEM Law College, in the academic year 2018 organised a visit to the Apex Court of the Country   Supreme Court of India on 4^th Dec, 2018. Students observed Chief Justice of India Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ranjan Gagoi, Hon’ble Mr.Juustice Lokeshwar Singh Panta, Hon’ble Justice B.Lukur and other justice hearing the various matters related to ongoing cases pertaining from Court  No   1-13. Students also visited library & spent some quality time there. They also visited the S-C Museum and observed the evolution of legal system in India since Mohanjo Daro civilization, to present legal system on India, which include the Maurya period, Gupta period, Mughal period and British Period. At Last they have also got a chance to watch a documentary in the auditorium which shows the detail history of Supreme Court formation and its process of dispensing the Law.

This visit was aimed at making the students aware of functioning of the highest body of justice. The visit was organized for final year students of both courses. It was a long demanding request that has been conducted in peaceful manner. The purpose of the visit to learn the Supreme Court procedures and procedure for quick administrative justice to the people of India.It was liked & appreciated by all students.
