IPEM law Academy organised a Quiz and Poster making competition on Constitutional law on the occasion of “CONSTITUTION DAY”. In which 27 students participated in quiz competition and 10 students participated for poster making competition. Winners of the quiz competition are Nikunj panchal, Umang rana, Parul singh (BA.LL.B, 3rd semester) and, winners of the poster making competition are Komal sharma ( LL.B, 1st sem), Arya Shylajan (LLB, 5th sem).

IPEM Law Academy organised a National Legal Essay Writing Competition on “Analysis of laws relating to Capital Punishment: National and International Regime” on 16-17th November 2021. The Competition commenced with the words of wisdom by Dr. Neelam Seam, HOD, IPEM Law Academy. Ms. Devshree Chauhan, Assistant Professor, IPEM Law Academy elaborated about the rules and regulations. The competition commenced at 2:00 pm and students were allotted one hour time to upload their legal essays in printed form at google classroom. More than 90 students registered for the event and 37 uploaded their essays on the date of the competition. On 17th November 2021, results were announced in which Nagesh from Jamia Milia Islamia took the first position, Arya Shylajan from IPEM Law Academy took the second position and Jaspreet Kaur from RIMT University took the third position.

IPEM Law Academy organised a workshop by Advocate Surabhi Guleria, Advocate on record, Supreme Court on Drafting, Pleading and Conveyancing for all students of BALLB (5 Years) and LLB (3 Years).
A total of 125+ students were present. They learnt the writing skills used by legal fraternity in the court and beyond. As a counsel, it is there utmost duty to represent their clients to the fullest.
For the better understanding, 5 teams were made and were given different subject matters to write upon. Each team presented their draft and the guest speaker gave feedback and suggestions for improvement in the drafting skills.

IPEM Law Academy have started the initiative of “Activity Based Teaching” to motivate and engage students to learn better.
Keeping this in mind, IPEM Law Academy organised a class activity i.e. A Role Play on Client Counseling for B.A.LL.B 7th and LLB 3rd semester students.
A total of 30 students were present. They discussed the 5 stages of every client counseling session. As a counsel it is their utmost priority to take the client in confidence and gain their trust. Another important factor to keep in mind is the confidentiality of information between the client and the counsel.
One role play was done by BA LLB 7th Sem students and another by LLB 3rd Sem students. Towards the end, feedback was given to both the groups as to how they can better themselves at client counseling.

IPEM Law Academy have started the initiative of “Activity Based Teaching” to motivate and engage students to learn better.
Keeping this in mind, IPEM Law Academy organised a Classroom Activity i.e. Group discussion on theme “Surrogacy and Ethics” for B.A.LLB 5th semester students.
Total 35 students were present for the discussion. All the students gave their perception on the much-debated theme and even laid down suggestions for making Surrogacy laws more stringent in India.

IPEM Law Academy organized a Legal Aid & Awareness Camp on 31st October, 2021 (Sunday) under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan at Sadullapur Village, Ghaziabad. During the first half of the day the students of LL.B and B.A. LL.B. along with two advocates and 3 Faculty members provided legal awareness to the villagers, distributed pamphlets. In the second half, advocates met some of the villagers who came forward with their problems and gave legal advice to them.
Topics covered under our Legal Aid Camp were:
Dowry
Domestic Violence
Right to information
Child marriage
Property related issues
Consumer related issues.

During the Camp, villagers supported us enthusiastically and helped in the smooth conduction of the program.
