The celebration is not only a cultural tradition but also a psychological milestone that allows individuals to assess their lives and set new goals.

IPEM Law Academy Organised New Year celebration AAGAZ 2024 today at 02:00 pm onwards in the LaxmiChand Auditorium. Event Started with the welcome Speech of Director Sir (IPEM Law Academy). Each department Organised activity and performance. The performances at the event were truly outstanding. Each act showcased remarkable talent and creativity, keeping the audience thoroughly entertained. The diverse range of performances added a unique charm to the celebration. The celebration was a perfect blend of fun and excitement. The attention to detail, vibrant atmosphere, and seamless coordination made it truly memorable. Looking forward to future events!

Chess Competition

Description

The purpose of the competition was to enhance the CHESS playing skills of the students as well as to boost the sporting spirit. It is one of the oldest and most popular board games, played by two opponents on a checkered board with specially designed pieces of contrasting colors, commonly white and black. White moves first, after which the player’s alternate turns by fixed rules, each player attempting to force the opponent’s principal piece, the King, into checkmate—a position where it is unable to avoid capture. Chess first appeared in India about the 6th century AD and by the 10th century had spread from Asia to the Middle East and Europe. Since at least the 15th century, chess has been known as the “royal game” because of its popularity among the nobility. Rules and set design slowly evolved until both reached today’s standard in the early 19th century. Once an intellectual diversion favored by the upper classes, chess went through an explosive growth in interest during the 20th century as professional and state-sponsored players competed for an officially recognized world championship title and increasingly lucrative tournament prizes. Organized chess tournaments, postal correspondence games, and Internet chess now attract men, women, and children around the world.

Badminton Competition

Theme / Object

Badminton aims to hit the shuttle with your racket so that it passes over the net and lands inside your opponent’s half of the court. Whenever you do this, you have won a rally; win enough rallies, and you win the match.

Description

Badminton is a racket sport played by either two opposing players (singles) or two opposing pairs (doubles), who take positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net. Players score points by striking a shuttlecock with their racket so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponent’s half of the court. A rally ends once the shuttlecock has struck the ground, and the shuttlecock may only be struck once by each side before it passes over the net.

The shuttlecock (or shuttle) is a feathered projectile whose unique aerodynamic properties cause it to fly differently from the balls used in most racket sports in particular, the feathers create much higher drag, causing the shuttlecock to decelerate more rapidly than a ball. Shuttlecocks have a much higher top speed when compared to other racket sports. As the shuttlecock flight is stubbornly affected by wind, competitive badminton is always played indoors. Badminton is also played outdoors as a casual recreational activity, often as a garden or beach game.

Since 1992, badminton has been an Olympic sport with five events: men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles, in which each pair is a man and a woman. At high levels of play, the sport demands excellent fitness: players require aerobic stamina, agility, strength, speed, and precision. It is also a technical sport, requiring good motor coordination and the development of sophisticated racket movements.

Growing a Greener World – Let’s be Earth superheroes and save it by Planting Trees

Purpose and Objective

•  To be aware of plant benefits for our Environment and the importance of plantations.
•  To allow students to show their creativity through presentation and their knowledge of plantation.

Description

To raise awareness for the benefits of plantation by the presentation we conducted an activity in which 31 students participated with zeal and courage. Students were divided into groups there were two members in each group. They presented their presentation in respect of merits and demerit plants. The time limit for each presentation was a maximum of 5 minutes. Finally, they were judged based on their presentation and they were awarded with certificates.

The IPEM Law Academy organised orientation programme for the student for LL.B.1 st year on 07 October, 2023. The ceremony commenced with the light of ceremonial lamp by all the dignitaries and evoking the blessing of almighty.  The impressive inaugural ceremony was presided over by Adv Rajni Kant ,High Court. Welcome Address has given by Dr.Minaxi Tomer ,Principal of IPEM Law Academy in her valuable words, she emphasized upon the prime object of this orientation programme aware the students for the importance of professionalism with their ethical values. Adv. Rajni Kant shared her views and encouraged the students to work hard and motivate them to achieve their goals in future.

Corporate Alumni Meet 2023

Theme/Objective

Description

Institute of Professional Excellence and Management, Ghaziabad NAAC ‘A’ Grade Accredited, Alumni Committee organized Corporate Alumni Meet on 22nd December 2023, at Monarch, Habitat Centre, Indirapuram. The meet aimed to provide a platform for alumni to reconnect with each other, network, and engage in fun-filled activities while challenging themselves and cheering their peers. More than 60 alumni from all four departments Management, CTE, CA & Law, and 20 Industry persons participated. The formal Alumni Meet 2023 inauguration was done by the Executive Director, followed by Dean-Academic who briefed the Alumni and rest of the audience about the Alumni association activities. Alumni shared their valuable experiences and their journey with the audience. The association strives to foster friendly and productive

relationships with the pass out students. In order to accomplish the goals of the alumni association and forge close ties between alumni, industrial/corporate persons and IPEM, the executive and committee members of the association will have regular meetings. In addition, alumni engaged with the audience and offered career advice on placements and further education. Alumni also shared the current employment options, how to prepare for technical and aptitude interviews, and advice. A picture booth was set up while the guests were finishing their welcome drinks, snacks and food making their way to the main entrance. Friends and families created a lasting memory rather than merely snapping a photo. Alumni enjoyed a lot of interactive and entertaining games, followed by dinner. The event was successfully conducted.

Blood Donation Camp 2023

Save Lives….Be A Hero 

Objective

Blood donation camps are organized with the purpose of supplying blood to the blood banks for the need of patients suffering from cancer, hemophilia, and accident victims. 

Description

On 06th December 2023 Blood Donation Camp was organized in IPEM Law Academy with the collaboration of Vardaan Red Center Donation Camp. It was organized from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM. The camp was inaugurated by Secretary Mr. Anupam Goel and Executive Director Dr. Sugandha Goel. The donation of blood is a unique opportunity to contribute yourself and save a life. About 155 students, faculty, and staff of IPEM donated their blood. The Donors were given a certificate and card for their contribution. Mr. Shashank Chaudhary Dean of Academics said that blood donation is great work and a small step toward saving the lives of others selflessly and it is a matter of pride that we organized the camp.

International Human Rights Day Celebration

To raise awareness and promote the importance of upholding human rights globally, fostering equality, justice, and dignity for all.

The International Human Rights Day celebration was organized on 09th December 2023 at IPEM Law Academy Conference Hall from 11.00 am onwards. Dr. Pramod Tiwari, Faculty of Law Delhi University was the Guest Speaker of the Day. The Program began with the Introductory Note and Welcome Address by Dr. Vijay Srivastava, Director, of IPEM Law Academy. The Guest Lecture of Dr. Pramod Tiwari, Faculty of Law Delhi University, was honored to share insights as the esteemed guest lecturer on International Human Rights Day. He focused on the importance of Human Rights in the country along with the discussion of various important articles of the Constitution as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Students from the BComLLB, BALLB, and LLB came together to stage a compelling Nukkad Natak The performance served as a vibrant platform to address crucial human rights issues and raise awareness. A Pictorial Quiz Competition relating to the pictures (historical monuments, prominent Juris, judges, and renowned experts) was also conducted in which Mr. Shajid Khan BCOM.LL.B 1st Semester secured the first position, Mr. Arvind Kumar of LLB 1st semester secured the second position, and the third position was secured by Mr. Abhinav Sahlot LL.B. 1st Semester. The guest Speakers Dr. Pramod Tiwari (Faculty of Law Delhi University), Dr. Vijay Srivastava, Director, Dr. Minaxi Tomar, Principal and Dr. Purnima Chaudhary, HOD, along with other faculty members and the students were present at the event.

Conduct Methodology

Freshers’ Day was conducted on 29^th of September, 2023 in Laxmi Chand Auditorium from 2 PM to 4 PM for the students admitted in the first year of both the BCOMLLB and BALLB. The event began with the lamp lightening and was further inaugurated by a welcome speech by Dr.Minaxi Tomar, Principal at IPEM LAW ACADEMY. BALLB students(III Semester) Himanshu and Khushi anchored the whole program with remarkable enthusiasm. All the students participated in the event with the tremendous energy that was shown in the different acts performed by them. The event witnessed many cultural programs including dancing, singing, poetry, push-ups, ramp walks etc, followed by refreshments. Mr. Haider Ali and Ms. Anvi Tyagi from BALLB were selected as Mr. And Ms. Freshers and  Akash Bhati and Ms. Vidhi Jain from BCOMLLB were announced as Mr. And Ms. Freshers. In the end, the convener gave the vote of thanks and the event ended up successfully with the snacks distribution.
